Job Title: Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Executive

1. Position Summary
The Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Executive is responsible for both the strategic development and day-to-day execution of digital marketing and e-commerce initiatives. The primary objective of the role is to increase brand visibility, customer engagement, and commercial performance through innovative digital marketing strategies and effective online retail activation.
The role works closely with marketing and brand teams, external agency partners, and key online retail and marketplace channels to drive awareness, engagement, and sales across corporate, consumer, and product-focused brands.
The successful candidate will leverage expertise in digital marketing, search optimisation, paid media, social media, content marketing, analytics, and e-commerce to support business growth and enhance brand presence across key digital platforms.
Digital Marketing
Strategic Planning
Develop and implement digital marketing strategies across corporate, consumer, and product brands.
Identify emerging trends, technologies, and digital channels to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
Develop and manage social media strategies to maximise communication opportunities and search visibility.
Select, manage, and evaluate external digital marketing agencies and partners.
Operational Execution
Plan, implement, and optimise digital marketing campaigns, including social media, display advertising, paid search, and organic search initiatives.
Collaborate with marketing and brand teams to develop and optimise digital content for websites, social media, email marketing, and other digital channels.
Ensure all digital activities align with brand guidelines, corporate identity standards, and relevant industry regulations and codes of practice.
Performance Monitoring
Monitor and analyse website and campaign performance using relevant metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), including return on investment (ROI), reach, engagement, traffic, and conversion rates.
Generate insights and recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness and overall digital performance.
Prepare regular reports and communicate performance results to key stakeholders.
E-Commerce
Strategic Planning
Develop and implement online retail and marketplace strategies to support business growth.
Identify opportunities to expand digital sales channels and improve online product visibility.
Support the development of strategies that enhance the customer journey and online shopping experience.
Operational Execution
Plan and execute online retail marketing activities, including sponsored advertising, promotional campaigns, and product visibility initiatives.
Collaborate with online retail partners and internal stakeholders to ensure strong brand representation across digital sales channels.
Enhance and optimise product content and visibility across online retail platforms.
Monitor market activity, competitor performance, and industry best practices to identify opportunities for improvement.
Performance Monitoring
Analyse the performance of e-commerce and retail media activities using agreed KPIs.
Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimisation to improve commercial outcomes.
Provide recommendations based on data analysis and market insights.
2. Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Digital Media, or a related discipline is desirable.
Experience
Minimum of three years' experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, performance marketing, search engine optimisation, and content marketing.
Experience managing digital campaigns across multiple channels and platforms.
Experience working with external agencies and digital partners is advantageous.
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence applications.
Excellent understanding of digital trends, consumer behaviour, and social media platforms.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
