DescriptionWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Analyst / Senior QA Engineer with deep hands-on expertise in the SS&C Advent Geneva investment accounting platform. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing and executing complex testing cycles for Geneva upgrades, patches, and custom enhancements, with a strong focus on quality assurance, regression testing, data validation, and change management. This individual will play a key role in ensuring platform stability, operational accuracy, and successful deployment of functional updates.Key ResponsibilitiesGeneva Platform Ownership:Serve as a subject-matter expert for the Advent Geneva platform across the organization.Lead analysis, configuration validation, and functional review of new Geneva releases, hotfixes, and custom workflows.Collaborate with accounting, operations, technology, and vendor teams to understand impact and requirements for updates.Testing & Quality Assurance:Design, implement, and execute comprehensive regression test plans for Geneva upgrades and environment refreshes.Lead end-to-end functional testing, including validation of accounting calculations, security setups, instrument types, pricing, P&L, and NAV impacts.Develop automated and manual test cases, ensuring full coverage of core and peripheral Geneva modules.Coordinate and track defect management, retesting, and resolution with internal teams and SS&C Advent support.Change Management & Deployment:Own the testing lifecycle for Geneva version updates—planning, environment setup, test execution, sign-off, and go-live support.Assess operational risk of changes and provide recommendations for release readiness.Create and maintain testing documentation, regression scripts, SOPs, and release notes.Support UAT processes for downstream systems interfacing with Geneva (e.g., data warehouses, reporting tools, reconciliation systems).Operational & Release Management:Own the testing cycle for quarterly/annual Geneva updates used in fund administration environments.Prepare formal documentation including regression test scripts, results summaries, SOPs, and release sign-off packages.Evaluate operational risks associated with changes and advise senior stakeholders on readiness for go-live.Support user acceptance testing (UAT) for accounting teams and ensure that workflows remain compliant with internal controls and audit standards.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Act as a bridge between technology, middle-office, operations, fund accounting, and vendor teams.Provide training, mentoring, and technical guidance to junior team members.Support incident analysis and troubleshooting of Geneva-related production issues.Required Experience & Qualifications5-10+ years of hands-on experience with Advent Geneva, including upgrade cycles, configuration, and module functionality.Expertise in regression testing, test case development, and quality assurance methodologies.Strong understanding of investment accounting (multi-currency portfolios, corporate actions, derivatives, performance, fee calculations).Prior experience working in a buy-side, hedge fund, asset manager, or fund administrator environment.Competency with SQL and data analysis tools for testing and validation.Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Preferred SkillsExperience with automated testing frameworks or QA scripting tools.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and release management frameworks.Knowledge of integration between Geneva and reconciliation, reporting, or data warehouse systems#LI-RM
