We're working with a leading tier 1 main contractor in their search for an experienced Project Manager in Galway.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of a turnkey residential development, with further residential projects in the pipeline in the Galway region.
Responsibilities:
6. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, risk assessments, and resource allocation.
7. Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and communication.
8. Monitor and control project costs to ensure adherence to the budget.
9. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality.
10. Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
11. Implement risk management plans to ensure project success.
12. Chair weekly QA meetings.
13. Close out any design issues during the design process in line with the program
14. Maintain open and transparent communication with project stakeholders, including investors, regulatory bodies, and community members.
15. Provide regular updates on project progress and address any concerns or inquiries.
16. Ensure the Design Management is managed in line with the site constraints and within the target program.
Requirements:
17. Proven experience as a Project Manager in residential construction, with a track record of successful project delivery.
18. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
19. Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and regulations in Ireland.
20. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
21. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
22. Proficiency in project management software and tools
