Overview:
Construction Manager to lead, co-ordinate and deliver projects on-site in Limerick supporting and optimizing throughout.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
* Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to specification.
* Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental standards in line with company and statutory requirements.
* Demonstrate, promote and acknowledge positive behaviours to develop a proactive safety culture on site, Identify and prevent unsafe behaviors, defects.
* Coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
* Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
* Monitor progress, identify risks or delay, and implement solutions to keep the project on track.
* Prepare and present regular reports on site performance and progress.
* Review technical drawings and ensure site works align with design specifications and standards.
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering (Construction, Civil or related field).
* Proven experience as a Construction Manager or Site Manager, ideally on ideally in the biopharma or life sciences sector.
* Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to coordinate diverse teams.
* Solid understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and technical drawings.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster strong working relationships.
