Respite Care Professional
The primary goal of the Respite Manager is to effectively oversee the respite service, ensuring high-quality care and adherence to regulatory requirements.
* Discharge responsibilities as Person in Charge, aligning with the Health Act (2007) and associated Regulations.
* Implement management systems to ensure a safe, appropriate, and effectively monitored service.
* Maintain an up-to-date Risk Register and escalate risks to your Divisional Lead in a timely manner.
Main Responsibilities
* Effectively manage allocated resources and deploy them efficiently.
* Continuously monitor and enhance the quality of the service through observation and audit.
* Facilitate an annual review of quality and implement necessary actions from this review.
The ideal candidate possesses:
* A Social Care degree or registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland or CORU.
* At least 3 years' experience in a management role, preferably in Respite Services.
* Excellent computer literacy and information technology skills.
* Proven organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise delivery.
