About the Opportunity
This is a Specified Purpose Contract based in Mitchelstown, Co. Cork.
Payroll
Run weekly and monthly payrolls for all Dairygold entities in Ireland and UK covering over 1,200 employees and complete all tasks within set deadlines.
Liaise and work closely with HR teams regarding payroll amendments, issues and general queries.
Coordinate with legal entity Financial Accountants & Pension Advisors.
Calculate manual Gross to Net calculations.
Process and reconcile all third‑party deductions.
Implement all legislative changes and any new procedures.
Complete payroll bank reconciliations.
Ensure all relevant tax filings and reconciliations are completed on time – PAYE Modernisation.
Update work instructions and SOPs.
Participate in various payroll projects as required.
Respond to all internal and external payroll queries.
Take part in ongoing continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain a high standard of system knowledge and participate in IT upgrades, identifying process improvements and adapting to advances in technology.
Participate in external and internal audits.
Perform any other tasks as assigned by the manager.
Expenses, Payments, Accounts
Own and manage the employee expense procedure, including processing Irish and UK employee expenses, reviewing and paying these expenses to meet internal deadlines and reporting requirements (and liaising with HR, IT, etc.).
Enter manual payment requisitions on Oracle.
Handle various payments – milk suppliers, grain suppliers, shareholders and creditors – in all currencies.
Assist in preparing and analysing month‑end processes within the Shared Services Function, including creditor bank reconciliations.
