We’re partnering with a national organisation that operates a safety‑critical infrastructure and is looking to hire an experienced engineer to support and enhance their site and systems portfolio. The role sits within a specialist technical team and offers broad exposure to large‑scale projects, complex operational environments and long‑term career development.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical input on the design, implementation and continuous improvement of site infrastructure and plant.
Support power, cooling, building control and related systems, including upgrades, configuration changes and new service rollouts.
Troubleshoot live issues, carry out corrective and preventative maintenance and manage return‑to‑service timelines with stakeholders.
Perform system testing and resilience checks, ensuring high availability and robust performance across multiple sites.
Maintain accurate technical documentation, asset records and configuration data.
Liaise with vendors and service providers, monitoring service levels and coordinating remedial works.
Key Skills & Experience
Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
3+ years’ experience in an infrastructure, facilities or building‑services engineering role supporting critical systems.
Strong knowledge of plant, power distribution and control/monitoring systems, including diagnostics and fault‑finding.
Proven analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload.
Comfortable working to strict safety, security and procedural standards in a regulated environment.
