This position is open for permanent night shift:
* Mon - Thu 23:00 PM to 7:00 AM,
* Fri 21:00 PM to 4:00 AM
Location: Dublin 15, Blanchardstown
Job Summary
Perform troubleshooting/diagnostics and associated repairs of failed server components such as SSD, Annapurna, Memory DIMMs, Motherboards, and CPUs.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
* Adhere to all safety and health regulations and company policies.
* Follow all security procedures.
* Analyze failure data and participate in testing failed components.
* Follow run books and escalate issues as needed.
* Identify failed components using diagnostic tools and visual inspection.
* Assist senior/debug technicians with reporting and analysis.
* Document all actions and keep repair records.
* Troubleshoot failed server components following instructions.
* Validate diagnoses post-rework.
* Participate in Kaizen events.
* Track efficiency and work with team to meet targets.
Knowledge and Experience Requirements
* Minimum 12 months experience in a technical role at Jabil (internal applicants).
* Intermediate Excel skills and understanding of server hardware.
* Basic Linux OS knowledge; Linux experience advantageous.
* Basic shell scripting knowledge.
* Familiarity with Jabil test tools and operating systems.
* Understanding of Process Control Plans and Failure Mode Effects Analysis.
* Knowledge of Material Review Board processes.
* Ability to read assembly documentation and manage tickets.
* Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively.
* Completion of mandatory Jabil trainings.
Education & Experience
* BSc in Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related discipline.
* 1-2 years’ experience as a Debug Technician or similar role; experience may substitute for education.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Linux.
