Role Overview
As a Payroll Operations Specialist, you will assist in the administration of payroll in line with time management systems. Data will be collated from each live project, requiring travel to offices approximately once a month.

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with preparation of fortnightly & monthly payroll for various locations
* Collate weekly timesheet data on time management systems and check for accuracy
* Calculate wage payments based on system readings, liaise with project leads when reviewing clock records to rectify any discrepancies
* Manage and process annual leave entitlements and employee benefits
* Maintain strict adherence to deadlines in payroll processes & revenue submissions
* Work closely with HR functions to ensure continuous flow of relevant data across departments to aid payroll processes
* Process all new starters and leavers on time management systems
* First point of contact for staff payroll queries
* Assist with biometric setup of new profiles
* Maintain accurate records and files
* Produce monthly reports and returns and reconcile them
Requirements
We are looking for candidates with 3+ years' experience working with payroll, preferably with a specific payroll qualification. Previous experience working with multi-jurisdictional (European) payroll would be advantageous but training will be provided. Proficiency in Microsoft applications, especially Excel, is essential. Analytical skills with excellent attention to detail, planning, prioritizing, and meeting multiple deadlines are required. Knowledge of basic employment legislation or statutory entitlements is desirable. Excellent customer service and communication skills are necessary.
