Accounts Manager Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Accounts Manager to join our team at a well-established solicitors firm in Louth.


Key Responsibilities:

* Client Management: Manage client and office bank accounts, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions.
* Petty Cash Administration: Maintain petty cash funds, manage expenses, and ensure compliance with company policies.
* Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payment processing, and credit control.
* Client Matter Ledger Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client matter ledgers, ensuring seamless financial tracking.
* Compliance Reporting: Prepare and submit regular compliance reports, highlighting any discrepancies or areas for improvement.
* Staff Expense Processing: Process staff expenses, ensuring timely reimbursement and adherence to company policies.
* Payroll and VAT Management: Manage payroll and VAT functions, ensuring accurate tax calculations and compliance.
* Nominal Ledger Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date nominal ledgers, providing visibility into company finances.
* Ad-hoc Reporting: Provide ad-hoc reporting as required, utilizing data analysis skills to inform business decisions.


Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

* Proactive and Professional Attitude: Demonstrate a proactive and professional attitude, working independently to drive results.
* Strong Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, able to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
* Sound Understanding of Legal Accounting Systems: Hold a solid understanding of legal accounting systems, with experience in managing complex financial transactions.
