Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
Overall purpose of Job: As Clerical assistant you will also be expected to support the day to day operation of IWA's Tipperary Town Office. By following current practice; logging accounts, member attendance and activity we ensure that each are reported weekly to head office. Timely and accurate communications ensure that our services are planned and delivered to the highest standards. You will be required to undertake and ensure the execution of such other tasks/duties as may be deemed necessary to the successful implementation of the programme.
Liaise with: Close liaison is required with the Service Co-ordinator, C.E. Supervisor, colleagues, volunteers and members of Resource and Outreach Service for the successful implementation of this position.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Check telephone/email for messages and follow upon same.
* Responsibility for all postage and logging of same.
* Maintain and update accounts on electronic files (Microsoft excel).
* Have all accounts stamped, photocopied and ready for signature. File these appropriately when signed.
* Bank lodgements on a weekly basis with all appropriate accounting.
* Monitor purchase orders for renewal (liaise with Service Coordinator).
* Any communication/administration/typing or other duties requested (Microsoft word).
* Data inputting of service user attendance on a weekly basis (Microsoft Access package).
* Data inputting/filing of weekly and monthly staff reports.
* Maintain office area to a clean and safe standard.
* Any other duties as required.
