Job DescriptionThis is a 12 Month Secondment OpportunityThe role will focus on the design and delivery of the Positive Drinking agenda in Ireland, with a strong focus on moderation. Working across the wider business, the Society Manager will play a central role in embedding moderation, championing responsible drinking, and advancing Diageo’s Society 2030: Spirit of Progress commitments in Ireland. The role requires the individual to build and maintain strong working relationships with marketing, legal, brand and global CR teams.About you:Experience in Corporate Relations, sustainability, public policy, or communications, ideally with focus on responsible drinking, moderation, or ESG issues.Track record of developing and delivering impactful programmes that drive societal change.Strong communication and influencing skills, including external representation and stakeholder management.Project and event management experience, with the ability to manage agencies and partnerships effectively.Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver high-quality execution.About the roleLead the design, delivery, and evaluation of Diageo Ireland’s Positive Drinking strategy, ensuring moderation is at the heart of all programmes and communications.Manage and activate flagship programmes PD programmes ensuring 360° delivery across execution, evaluation, stakeholder engagement, and public affairs/media amplification.Champion moderation messaging across Ireland, working with Marketing and brand teams to embed moderation into consumer campaigns and ensure adherence to the Diageo Marketing Code.Act as subject matter expert on Positive Drinking and moderation, representing Diageo with customers, industry partners, and community stakeholders.Develop partnerships that strengthen the moderation agenda, driving measurable behaviour change and societal impact.Manage agencies, budgets, and external partners to deliver high-quality programmes aligned with Society 2030.Lead reporting and impact measurement of Society activity in Ireland, ensuring visibility of progress to internal and external stakeholders.Support the broader IOI Corporate Relations agenda, including corporate communications, executive profiling, and public affairs activity, where relevant.FlexibilityThis is key to success in our business and many of our staff work flexibly in many different ways, including part-time and compressed hours.
