Confined Competition Lifelong Learning Coordinator (Student Support & Services)

Following a period of sustained growth and development in its lifelong learning provision with partners across the private, public and voluntary sectors, SETU now seeks to recruit an exceptional individual to lead and manage further innovations and developments within its Faculty of Education and Lifelong Learning. The Faculty provides a fast-paced, dynamic and professional work environment that offers a wide range of academic programmes to fee paying learners leading to major, minor and special purpose awards from Level 6 to Level 10 on the National Framework of Qualifications. This position blends the private sector ethos of forward thinking and business agility with the robust educational frameworks that underpins the quality of publicly funded higher education service delivery. The person appointed will be capable of developing strong local, regional and national relationships, possessing experience and knowledge of the Higher Education sector.
Hours of Work: The appointee will be required to work 35 hours per week. Due to the nature of the role, a flexible approach to work is needed, as the role may require evening work during the academic year and Saturday work occasionally throughout the year.
Salary Senior Staff Officer Salary Scale, Grade VI: €57,324 - €70,033
Annual Leave: 27 days. Annual Leave will be in accordance with arrangements authorised by the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science from time to time.

Essential for Confined Competition:
* have at least two years in a Grade III post, or equivalent, or higher, in the Education and Training Sector
* have successfully completed their probation period, or have successfully completed a probation period at a lower eligible grade
