Candidate Profile: Junior HR Business Partner
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as a trusted advisor, supporting employee relations, performance management, retention, compensation & benefits, and HR projects.
* Build strong relationships with People Managers to deliver effective HR solutions aligned with organisational strategy.
* Provide expert advice and coaching on HR policies, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant practices.
* Support and lead on employee relations issues including conflict resolution, performance concerns, and formal processes.
* Implement and monitor retention strategies such as check-ins, stay interviews, and exit feedback.
* Manage long-term absence, retirement processes, and support benchmarking and secondments.
* Lead and deliver key HR projects and contribute to ongoing improvements in HR processes.
* Ensure up-to-date HR policies, GDPR compliance, and accurate HR reporting.
Requirements:
* HR qualification and CIPD membership.
* At least 4 years' HR Generalist experience with strong employee relations and performance management knowledge.
* Solid understanding of employment law and HR best practice.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
* Strong project management, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
* High level of discretion, integrity, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Flexible, proactive approach with strong organisational skills.
