Role Profile We are seeking a Finance Business Partner on a 12 month contract basis to effectively lead within a fast paced and dynamic environment. The role will involve partnering with the Category teams to deliver the insights required to aid decision making and contribute to the success of the business, by providing challenge and support to the team. You will understand the probable financial implications of decisions on the Category, thereby having the ability to offer advice and support to the Operations & Supply Chain team. Responsibilities Partner with the Operations & Supply Chain team to offer insights on financial analysis to evaluate, monitor and drive business performance. Understand and drive performance by identifying, owning and developing the PIs/KPIs of the Operations & Supply Chain unit and related dashboards and reports on business objects. Develop and challenge strategic/business plans and identify areas of risk and opportunity. Work with Operations & Supply Chain to develop and challenge budgets/forecasts Support the Operations & Supply Chain team in business case feasibility and development and provide on-going monitoring and evaluation of actual performance against agreed targets Support the preparation of ad-hoc analysis and management reporting to assist in business decisions, including but not limited to, Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, Commercial negotiations & Project appraisal Support process improvement and optimisation being the key finance player in commercial/lean projects from identification through to planning and implementation phases. Requirements Qualified Accountant or third level degree in a relevant finance or business discipline. 3-5 years post qualification experience in a dynamic environment, working in FMCG environment is desirable. Good knowledge and experience of SAP/BW accounting environments preferred, together with ability to use and exploit data warehousing tools and excel. Strong business acumen.
