CREGG Recruitment is hiring a maintenance/controls technician to work onsite with a leading medical device multinational client in Galway.
This shift pattern is on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights with a shift bonus payment.
About the job: Key responsibilities: * Effective completion and ongoing review of planned equipment maintenance routines.
* Ensure accuracy of data input to Maintenance systems (e.g.
PEMAC, Knowledgebase).
* Ensure all executed maintenance activities are recorded on PEMAC maintenance system.
* Minimise downtime on Equipment, through fast response, effective root cause analysis, and good problem-solving techniques.
* Effective analysis and elimination of recurring equipment problems.
* Take lead on identifying, quantifying, implementing, and presenting equipment continuous improvement projects.
* Co-ordinate and communicate high-impacting equipment/safety issues.
Key requirements: * Must be highly proficient in all of the following; Allen Bradley PLCs, Electrical (including high voltage), PC software & and hardware, Parker motion control, and vacuum systems.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record.
* Strong interpersonal and communication/presentation skills.
* Ability to work on my own with minimum supervision.
* A proven history of control systems debugging & and upgrade work.
* Experience in identifying and leading continuous improvement projects.
