This role exists to ensure that Product Designers and Developers always have the precise, consistent, and high-quality UI components and specifications they need to move fast and build great products.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and govern the Design System: define processes, document components, and ensure consistency across all digital products.Serve as the primary UI provider for Product Designers, delivering assets and specifications that meet their needs with speed and quality.Design high-fidelity interactions, animations, and transitions that align with product goals and industry best practices.Leverage AI tools to optimize Design System documentation and operational workflows.Conduct visual QA to ensure pixel-perfect implementation across all product surfaces.Mentor junior designers and drive initiatives that improve UI workflows and team collaboration.Qualifications4+ years in UI Design, Visual Design, or UX/UI roles.Expert-level Figma skills: variables, components, design tokens, auto-layout, and prototyping.Proven experience owning or deeply managing a Design System.Strong understanding of interaction design, accessibility (WCAG), and responsive design.Ability to present and defend design decisions in English and Spanish.Good to haveExperience using AI tools for design workflows or documentation.Basic front-end knowledge (HTML/CSS).Familiarity with Maze, Miro, or Hotjar.Hybrid ModalityWe focus on trust and performance. We are implementing a two-phased approach for our Hybrid Modality:Phase 1: While the teams are establishing ways of working, building trust, and developing their rhythm, we ask that you’re present in the office three days a week. In-person proximity is key to accelerating the forming stage.Phase 2: Once teams are performing, we move to a more relaxed hybrid model.
