As a Technical Support Engineer, you will provide guidance to our dealer network on technical issues and use your skills to keep our customer uptime at maximum levels. To be successful in this role you should have a good technical understanding of heavy goods vehicles, be proactive, have tenacity and use your initiative to help solve issues.Essential Qualifications and SkillsQualification in automotive, transport or mechanical engineering (Level 8 preferred)Confidence to communicate and deal with people at all levelsAbility to analyse business requirements and define them into technical requirementsStrong analytical skillsIT knowledge including Microsoft, Word and ExcelTechnical Report writing skillsKey Responsibilities:Support our dealer network with technical issues and reporting to Scania HQ when necessarySupporting the flow of technical information and communications to our network and end usersWork as part of a team on development projects for new products and services.Build a close working relationships with all internal departments to improve products and servicesTechnical administration including the delivery of campaigns and subscriptionsTravel to our dealer network throughout Ireland providing support on technical issues and projectsUndertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as required.Attractive remuneration package available to the successful candidate.
