Job Description
Accurately interpret and process prescriptions, ensuring compliance with legal, clinical, and regulatory requirements. Assist in the preparation, labeling, and dispensing of prescription and over-the-counter medications under pharmacist supervision. Maintain stringent inventory control by monitoring stock levels, expiry dates, and batch traceability to ensure continuous availability and compliance. Implement and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for medication handling, storage, and distribution. Perform medication reconciliation support by verifying patient medication histories and flagging discrepancies for pharmacist review.
Key Requirements
Practical experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy environment, handling prescription and OTC medications
Exposure to medication dispensing processes, including labeling, packaging, and verification workflows
Hands‑on experience with pharmacy management systems (billing, inventory, prescription tracking)
Experience in inventory control and stock management, including expiry tracking and batch handling
Familiarity with controlled substances handling and documentation protocols
