The Opportunity
As an Electrician you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of Solar PV systems primarily on residential properties. You will receive six weeks of complete and thorough industry‑specific training.
Responsibilities
Install solar panels and electrical components according to safe electric specifications and SEAI code of practice.
Conduct electrical inspections and maintenance on solar systems.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in solar systems.
Test and verify system performance using specialised equipment.
Provide technical assistance to customers regarding their solar systems.
Work with the team to ensure projects are completed on time.
Keep accurate records of all work performed and materials used.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
Requirements
Qualified Electrician, ideally with 3+ years of domestic experience.
€68,000 – €71,000 annually DOE.
Company shared van.
Live within a commutable distance of Ballinasloe, Co Galway.
Knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
Experience with electrical testing equipment and tools.
Excellent problem‑solving skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Test & Verification certification would be an advantage.
Valid driver’s license.
