Exciting opportunity for an experienced Civil Engineer to join a leading multidisciplinary consultancy working on major water and wastewater infrastructure programmes across Ireland. Sample Projects: Wastewater treatment works upgrades & network resilience programmes Trunk mains, rising mains & water supply reinforcement schemes Urban drainage, stormwater management & nature-based solutions DesignBuild collaborations for water & wastewater infrastructure Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed civil and structural design solutions for a range of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Scope and coordinate all necessary surveys: planning & ecology inputs, topographical, geotechnical and road condition surveys. Undertake site visits to assess project scope and inform design development. Lead coordination with MEICA designers and manage inputs from planning and ecology teams. Requirements: Degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. Working towards Chartership with a recognised engineering institution. Strong working knowledge of water and wastewater assets, standards and specifications. Demonstrated ability to deliver design work to deadlines, both independently and within a team. Excellent drafting, written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, collaborative approach.
