The Royal Victoria Eye & Ear Hospital is a voluntary acute specialist hospital and is the national tertiary centre for the treatment of Ophthalmic, Ear, Nose, Throat/Head and Neck disorders.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates who are hardworking and caring and who can work as part of a team in a challenging healthcare centre in our Medical/Surgical Unit.
Full time position - 39 hours per week (Monday - Sunday) Part time position - 19.5 hours per week (Monday - Sunday) Shifts may include weekends and night duty Please indicate your preference for a full or part time position.
Essential Requirements: Level 5 QQI Award in Healthcare Support or an equivalent relevant health care qualification or a comparable healthcarequalification as outlined in the Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) NARIC Ireland framework.
12 months experience of caring for patients in an acute healthcare environment within the last 2 years Willingness to undertake additional clinical skills training.
Demonstrate ability to use own initiative whilst supporting the nursing team.
