Applications are invited for an appointment as Director of Student Life, Assistant Secretary, 1 FTE, permanent at University of Galway.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide leadership across a range of student-facing functions and services, enhancing student engagement, wellbeing and development, and fostering a vibrant, inclusive and supportive campus community. They will be a senior leader in the forthcoming Student Success Centre, which will bring together Student Services (to become Student Life), the Office of the Dean of Students, and the Office of the Director of Sport and Physical Wellbeing. Salary: €112,629 - €128,880 per annum pro rata for part time/short term roles (applicable to new entrants effective from January, 2011) and in accordance with the terms and conditions of the QA321 University's Remuneration & Payroll Policy.
This appointment will be made on the Assistant Secretary payscale in line with current Government pay policy. Closing date for receipt of applications is 17:00 (Irish Time) on Thursday, 5th of March 2026. It will not be possible to consider applications received after the closing date.
