The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining secure, stable, and high-performingWindows Server environments(on-premises and hybrid Azure), providing technical support, and contributing to infrastructure modernisation projects.Key ResponsibilitiesStable and Secure Infrastructure OperationsEnsure availability, integrity, and performance of Windows Server environments (on-prem and Azure hybrid).Apply system patches, monitoring, and compliance with IT security and administration policies.Active Directory & Identity ServicesManage and maintain AD structures, Group Policies, user accounts, and access controls.Exchange Online & Microsoft 365 SupportAdminister user mailboxes, distribution lists, shared mailboxes, and mail flow.Monitor and resolve issues with delivery, retention policies, and anti-spam.Azure Services SupportManage Azure VMs, identity & access (IAM), networking, and resource governance.Security & SSL ManagementMaintain SSL certificate inventory, ensuring renewals and secure configuration.Implement server/cloud-based cybersecurity controls and vulnerability remediation.Virtualisation Platform ManagementSupport and optimise VMware vSphere or Hyper-V environments, including resource allocation and monitoring.Desktop Deployment & Device SetupBuild and maintain desktop/laptop images using ManageEngine or Intune Autopilot .User Support via Service DeskRespond to escalated service desk incidents and requests, delivering high-quality technical support.Backup & Disaster RecoveryEnsure systems are backed up, tested, and recovery procedures are documented.Documentation & ReportingMaintain accurate system records, operational procedures, and change logs.Provide regular updates to the IT Manager or project lead.Infrastructure ProjectsSupport digital transformation and infrastructure modernisation initiatives.Required Skills & ExperienceMinimum 5 years' experience supporting and administering Microsoft infrastructure in enterprise environments.Strong expertise in:Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, Exchange Online, Entra IDVirtualisation platforms (Hyper-V / VMware)SSL management and cloud backup solutionsCybersecurity best practicesDesktop image deployment & device managementNetwork/firewall fundamentalsAbility to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Experience providing structured user/vendor support via a service desk.Strong documentation and attention to detail.Desirable SkillsPowerShell scripting for automation.Familiarity with ITIL processes .Experience in public sector or regulated environments .PFH Technology, owned by Ricoh – a Japanese based global ICT company, is a premier provider of end-to-end ICT solutions and a managed services portfolio scaling from SMEs to large Enterprise organisations.
