We have an opportunity for a Senior Architect, with 12+ years’ experience, to join our Building and Site Development Team. The candidate will take a leading role in the design and delivery of an expanding project portfolio across various industries for both public and private clients.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic and ambitious team with excellent career prospects and international opportunities. This is a senior-level position for a Senior Architect to progress. In addition to leading a design team, the role includes design development, contract administration, chairing site meetings, and liaising with stakeholders to ensure project timelines are met.
The ideal candidate will be an RIAI or RIBA Registered Architect with at least 7+ years’ experience, proven success in delivering medium and large-scale developments, and experience leading small teams.
Responsibilities include:
1. Design and delivery of schemes from feasibility to detailed design, contract documentation, and construction administration.
2. Leading the architectural department’s expansion.
3. Ensuring understanding of project deliverables and contractual requirements.
4. Managing staff and business development.
5. Monitoring project delivery within budget and schedule.
6. Preparing designs, technical specifications, and contract documents.
7. Report writing.
8. Acting as Design & Assigned Certifier under BC(A)R.
9. Fulfilling duties of Designer under SHWW(C) Regulations.
Key Skills:
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT, and SketchUp.
* Strong design, detailing, and technical site knowledge.
* Experience with Irish Building and Planning Regulations.
* Experience with planning, tender, and construction documentation.
* Experience in large-scale residential, commercial, educational, and public sector projects.
* Effective collaboration and communication skills.
* Member or eligibility for RIAI membership.
* Attention to detail and quality assurance compliance.
* Enthusiastic, hardworking, flexible, and a Chartered Architect.
