Principal Consultant | Semiconductor, Embedded Systems, AI, Robotics and Machine Learning Would you like to join one of the worlds semiconductor powerhouses?
We're working with one of the leading names in this field and they're seeking a Lead CPU Design Verification Engineer to drive the definition, modeling, design (digital and/or analog), optimization, verification, validation, implementation, and documentation of IP (block/SoC) development for a broad range of high-performance, low-power, and high-quality world-class products,working in the Silicon Valley of Europe, Cork in Ireland.
Ideally, you should have deep knowledge of Micro-Processor Verification functions and Architectures, knowledge of Random Instruction Sequencing (RIS) and testing a given design, at the Block/Unit-level and Subsystem/Chip-level and experience in leading a small team of Verification engineers performing CPU Verification.

What we look for: Expertise in microprocessor verification and architecture, including areas such as cache coherence, memory ordering and consistency, prefetching, branch prediction, register renaming, speculative execution, and memory management/address translation.
Proficiency in Random Instruction Sequencing (RIS) and verifying designs at both the block/unit level and subsystem/chip level to ensure functional correctness.
Experience leading small teams of verification engineers in CPU verification projects.
Familiarity with advanced verification techniques such as formal verification, assertion-based methods, and silicon bring-up.
A thorough understanding of microprocessor functions, architectures, and micro-architectures.
Skills in developing test plans, creating portable testbenches, transactors, and writing assembly code.
Hands-on experience with various verification tools and methodologies, including simulators, coverage analysis, gate-level simulations, waveform viewers, and formal proof tools.
Be capable of independently developing and verifying design blocks or units.
