We are looking to add an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to our team. Role Overview As an Accounts Assistant, you will support the accounting team in delivering high-quality services to a diverse client base. You will assist with bookkeeping, VAT returns, payroll, and general accounting duties. Please note: This is a fully on-site position based at our office. Remote or hybrid working is not available for this role. Key Responsibilities Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping and data entry Prepare VAT returns and assist with submissions Support monthly payroll processing Reconcile bank statements and financial records Assist in preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies Liaise with clients to request information and respond to basic queries Maintain and update client records in the accounting systems Support the wider team with ad hoc administrative and finance tasks Requirements Previous experience in a similar accounting or finance role Knowledge of accounting principles and practices Experience with accounting software is highly advantageous.
