Access Control & Identity Security Specialist
Location: Dublin City (Hybrid)
Salary: €75,000–€95,000
Type: Full-time, Permanent
We're seeking an experienced specialist to support and evolve enterprise identity and elevated-access controls across a large, distributed environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on experience managing secure access workflows, tooling, and operational procedures.
Role Overview
You'll be responsible for the administration, stability, and enhancement of privileged and high-risk access services. Working within the endpoint and identity security function, you'll contribute to daily service operations, access lifecycle activities, and long-term capability improvements.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and maintain enterprise privileged-access tooling and secure credential workflows
* Handle escalations, troubleshoot platform issues, and implement configuration updates
* Support onboarding of applications, systems, and users into elevated-access frameworks
* Contribute to policy improvements, audit readiness, and internal control alignment
* Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and security teams to address access-related risks
* Implement automation for routine access tasks and reporting
* Assist in service roadmap planning and process refinement
Core Requirements
* 5+ years of experience in security or identity-related technical roles
* Strong background in elevated-access or credential-management workflows
* Hands-on experience with at least one enterprise access-control or secret-management solution
* Solid troubleshooting capability across Windows/Linux endpoints and core infrastructure components
* Understanding of network segmentation, endpoint defence strategies, and identity-centric security
* Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Python, or similar) for light automation
* Knowledge of security and governance frameworks (e.g., ISO 2700x, NIST, GDPR, or equivalent)
Desirable
* Certifications in security, identity, or vendor access solutions
* Experience supporting large enterprise or regulated environments
* Exposure to directory services, MFA/SSO platforms, or cloud IAM models
* Background working with third-party vendors or managed services
