This role will initially beconstruction-focusedduring a major site development phase and will transition into a long-termoperational QHSE roleonce the facility becomes fully operational.Key ResponsibilitiesConstruction PhaseParticipate in site meetings, safety briefings, and EHS reviewsProvide clear Health & Safety guidance to contractors and site personnelConduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessmentsEnsure accurate incident reporting and follow-up actionsMaintain all statutory and internal safety documentationMonitor site safety performance and report to senior management and QHSE leadershipOperational PhaseDrive a proactive and positive Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality culture across the organisationLead internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and continuous improvementManage risk assessments, site inspections, and corrective action plansCoordinate training needs, inductions, and contractor management processesOversee machinery inspections, engineering checks, and safety systemsPrepare Health & Safety reports for senior leadershipMaintain and manage QHSE systems in line with ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001)Deliver toolbox talks and company-wide safety awareness initiativesCandidate ProfileExperience within construction and/or manufacturing environmentsRecognised qualification in Occupational Health & SafetyStrong working knowledge of Irish QHSE legislation and industry standardsExperience with ISO management systems and audit processesStrong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-engagement skillsAbility to operate effectively at both site and senior management level
