Site Manager - Construction Project
Our client requires a Site Manager for a large construction project expected to last 18 months. The company specializes in delivering projects across education, recreation, leisure, residential, and commercial sectors.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with a main contractor in Ireland, supervising projects under tight deadlines and high standards, including health & safety compliance.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate subcontractors and control the programme, including preparing look-ahead schedules to ensure timely completion.
* Prepare progress reports and chair site meetings, demonstrating full computer literacy.
* Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and engineers.
* Plan site setup, security, logistics, deliveries, and traffic management.
* Work alongside the Project Manager to adhere to the construction programme, sequencing trades to maximize quality and minimize rework, while monitoring resources, labor, and overheads.
* Ensure compliance with current Health and Safety Construction regulations.
* Liaise with the design team on construction issues and raise RFIs.
* Issue requisitions for materials and maintain site logs.
* Monitor and control quality and work standards on site.
Requirements
* Minimum of 7 years' site management experience in healthcare, commercial, industrial, residential, or large fit-out projects.
