The role of a Professional Liaison Officer is a crucial position that requires exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong professional relationships with General Practitioners (GPs) and other healthcare referrers to increase patient referrals.
The Primary Liaison Officer will serve as the primary liaison between GPs and the healthcare provider, promoting services and ensuring a smooth referral experience. Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and sustain effective relationships with GPs, practice managers, and primary care teams across the Republic of Ireland.
* Promote a wide range of healthcare services to drive patient referrals.
* Identify and engage new referral sources, including newly established or expanding GP practices.
* Act as a communication bridge between referring clinicians and internal departments to ensure a seamless referral process and excellent patient experience.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in relationship management or sales and possess strong organisational skills and ability to work independently across multiple sites. Commercial awareness and ability to identify referral growth opportunities are also essential.
