The Employer- a leading car dealership with multiple premium brands and 80+ employees The Role Assistant Accountant / Part-qualified accountant Assistant Accountant Working within a finance team of 4 staff and reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this role will have responsibility for the following areas: Bank reconciliation for all business accounts (Limerick & Galway) Weekly Cashflow Processing of weekly payroll & maintaining holiday system for approvals Review of vehicle finance sales for payout status Daily review of workshop hours and Service & Parts department payment receipts Processing of intercompany recharge invoices Debtor review bi-weekly and monthly Creditor review and monthly payment run Monthly warranty payment reconciliation Review and maintaining balance sheet reconciliations Responsibly for petty cash and maintaining receipts Other ad-hoc queries Qualifications and Experience Vehicle Admin experience advantageous but not essential Part qualified accountant or accounting technician, ideally with some industry experience General book-keeping (AP, AR, Payroll) and month-end accounting experience essential Ability to organise and prioritise work-load Strong interpersonal and communication skills; Good business acumen Ability to work as part of a team; Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
