PE Global are currently recruiting for a Regional Electrical Technician to provide facilities maintenance services to commercial clients across Munster.
We seek an experienced Regional Electrical Facilities Maintenance Technician to support our Southern Counties operation, delivering maintenance, service, repairs, and installations of various building services. This will involve implementing our maintenance system and leveraging the candidate's knowledge and experience.
Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* To undertake maintenance repairs, installation, or servicing work as specified by client requirements
* To comply with our procedures when working on clients' premises
* To adhere to all working practices and ensure compliance with relevant health & safety statutory requirements at all times
* To maintain Company-issued equipment in clean, serviceable, presentable, and safe condition
* To ensure accurate and legible completion of all Company paperwork, presented in a timely manner
* To participate in our out-of-hours emergency call-out rota as required
* To maintain a professional demeanor at all times and develop good working relationships with clients and other staff members
* To locate and purchase small items of equipment as necessary to facilitate efficient service delivery to our clients
* To communicate current work status to our Helpdesk following visit completion
* To ensure all professional qualifications required to undertake duties remain up-to-date
* To support the helpdesk in their role through effective communication and promote efficiency
* To attend review meetings as necessary
* To maintain a clean and tidy work area, disposing of waste products in accordance with company procedures
Candidates must possess:
* A full Electrical trade background, with mechanical knowledge and experience being a distinct advantage
* A background in HVAC is also advantageous
* Essential experience in Emergency lighting testing
* Ability to effectively communicate with client staff and other service providers on site as required
* Ability to support and contribute to M&E and building fabric maintenance and project works
* Understanding of energy initiatives
* Previous experience working in a similar role
* Good decision-making skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
* Competency in Microsoft Office Packages, particularly Excel, is a distinct advantage
* Flexibility is required, as this is a mobile role servicing our client retail and office estate, with occasional support to other nationwide clients possible, including overnight stays
* A Clean Driving License is essential
