Accordingly, Alcon is continuing to invest in a bespoke UK & Ireland glaucoma team to cement their status as the world leader in eye care and surgical glaucoma. We have an exciting new vacancy in our team for a 'Surgical Glaucoma Specialist' for Hydrus Microstent covering the North of UK & Ireland. In line with the agile and adaptable philosophy of the team, this position has a flexible territory geography depending on the needs of the right candidate, so we encourage all interested parties to apply.The purpose of the Surgical Glaucoma Specialist is to train surgeons on the Hydrus Microstent surgical implantation procedure in the highest quality manner while collaborating with them to facilitate product approval, thereby contributing to increased sales and commercial objectives in the allocated territory. In this role, the typical duties include:Become a certified Hydrus TrainerContribute to sales targets in allocated territoryComply with all legal requirements relating to role and business practicePossess and maintain thorough industry product knowledgePlan and manage territoryGenerate and develop new business to meet specified goalsIncrease Hydrus user base across territoryMaintain and nurture existing customer relationshipsUnderstand and communicate information regarding company products, services, and policies and procedures to new and existing customersWhat you'll bring to Alcon:You will be a hungry, driven, natural 'winner' with high commercial acumen coupled with exemplary technical knowledge.
