Job Summary
The Head of Global Pricing for BioMarin will lead a team of pricing experts utilizing their collective expertise in pricing analytics, healthcare systems, innovative pricing models and international pricing regulations to develop and govern Global pricing strategies.
The Head of Global Pricing will work in collaboration with our Global Access Leads, US Leads and other internal Commercial business partners and in alignment with our company's global access and corporate goals.
Main Responsibilities
* Pricing Strategies: Collaborate with Global Access Leads to develop and refine pricing strategies that support our global access goals.
* Analytics and Insights: Conduct in-depth pricing analytics to understand market dynamics and competitive landscape that allow us to set up prices for our medicines in alignment with their value to patients, healthcare professionals and healthcare systems around the world.
* Governance and Compliance: Establish and manage pricing governance frameworks to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
* Supporting Country Access Leads: Provide guidance and support to Country Access Leads in the implementation of global pricing strategies, value-based pricing and other innovative pricing models.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders including Global Access Leads, Country Access Leads, marketing teams, and senior management.
Requirements
Advanced degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience in pricing strategy from either within a biotech or pharmaceutical company or a consultancy supporting a biotech or pharmaceutical company.
