Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and process various legal documents including contracts, court papers, and wills.
* Accompany solicitors to police cells or court hearings.
* Manage all incoming and outgoing correspondence including telephone calls.
* Handle petty cash transactions while maintaining accurate records of expenditure.
* Arrange appointments for your employer and handle general administration duties.
* Utilise in-house databases efficiently.
* Coordinate scheduling of court depositions, hearings, and meetings with precision.
* Ensure timely filing of documents with the relevant authorities.
* Proofread and transcribe complex legal documents with accuracy.
Requirements for the Role:
* Minimum 1 year's experience working as a paralegal or in a similar role.
* Proficiency in understanding legal terminology and concepts.
* Familiarity with litigation management software systems.
* Ability to type at a rate of 50 words per minute with high accuracy.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills are essential.
