We are working with a leading main contractor delivering a large-scale residential development across the Meath / Louth region. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are looking to appoint an experienced Site / Setting Out Engineer to join the team on a long-term project. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-quality housing scheme with a well-established contractor known for strong project delivery and career progression.
Key Responsibilities
Setting out for all aspects of the project including groundworks, foundations, services, and housing units
Ensuring works are carried out in line with drawings, specifications and quality standards
Coordinating with site management, subcontractors, and design teams
Maintaining accurate site records, surveys, and as-built information
Supporting quality control and QA processes on site
Assisting with site logistics and programme coordination
Monitoring subcontractor performance and ensuring works are completed to specification
Requirements
Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline
3–5+ years’ experience in a Site/Setting Out role
Experience on residential projects (housing or apartments) desirable
Strong setting out skills with total station / GPS equipment
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Strong communication and coordination skills
