Location: Lifford Position: Grade III Clerical Officer Hours: Full time, Mon-Fri, 9-5 (35 hours a week) Pay: €17.31 - €26.79 per hour depending on previous relevant public sector experience Contract: Temporary 2 month initial contract with potential to be extended Immediate Start Key Duties & Responsibilities Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records through systematic filing and data entry Update and manage inventory logs, ensuring stock levels and records are accurate Organise, sort, and categorise physical and digital documents for easy retrieval Prepare records for secure disposal, including boxing and labelling files for shredding Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality standards when handling sensitive information Assist with general administrative tasks such as scanning, photocopying, and document management Monitor filing systems and recommend improvements for efficiency and organisation Liaise with team members to ensure records and inventory information are current and accessible Maintain a clean, organised workspace and storage areas Essential Criteria Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Good written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in basic IT systems (e.g., Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, databases) Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively Experience in administrative or records management roles (preferred but not always essential) Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Basic understanding of inventory control processes Physical ability to lift and move boxes/files where required Please apply with your updated CV at your earliest convenience.
