With a multimillion-euro turnover and a history spanning more than a century, this company supplies high-end laboratory equipment primarily to pharmaceutical labs and universities. Role
The successful Field Service Engineer will be responsible for the installation, service, repair, and maintenance of high-precision laboratory instruments including incubators, refrigeration systems, microbalances, and other weighing equipment.
Travel to customer sites to calibrate and maintain a wide range of electromechanical laboratory instruments.
Deliver technical product demonstrations and basic user training to clients when required.
Offer ongoing technical support across the full product range.
Develop and maintain professional relationships with customers in scientific and medical facilities.
Ensure all service documentation and reports are completed accurately in line with company policies.
The Person
We are seeking an enthusiastic and technically capable engineer, ideally someone in their second role, who is looking to develop their expertise in a hands‑on, field-based position.
Hold a qualification/trade in Electrical, Electronic, or Biomedical Engineering.
Experience in medical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing environments is advantageous.
Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation or similar complex systems is beneficial.
Motivated self‑starters with good communication and problem‑solving skills will thrive in this role.
Excellent attention to detail and a customer‑focused approach are key.
