Role Description
The Sales Representative will play a key role in developing relationships with trade professionals, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions from Howdens' extensive range of products. Responsibilities include generating sales leads, delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring product availability, and maintaining knowledge of Howdens' offerings. The representative will collaborate closely with other team members to meet sales targets and support depot operations. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Waterford.
Qualifications
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with trade professionals.
* Experience in customer service, client engagement, or sales, with a proactive approach to exceeding customer expectations.
* Basic knowledge of kitchen fittings, joinery, or hardware products, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new product offerings.
* Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as independently to achieve sales goals.
* Detail-oriented with organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in using IT systems or tools for order processing and customer relationship management is an advantage.
* Previous experience within a trade or retail environment is a plus, but not essential.
