A leading developer with projects across Ireland, are seeking to recruit an experienced Architect OR Architectural Technologist with strong residential project experience to join the team as a Design Manager.The Architect / Architectural Technologist will take the responsibility for leading the pre-construction phase as a Design Manager and coordinate early-stage design activities across multiple residential developments. Playing a critical role in design reviews, technical assessments, and ensuring alignment with central design standards during the pre-construction phase.Reporting to the Design Lead, they will support cross-functional teams through planning, design, and early delivery. This is a strategic role requiring strong coordination skills, an innovative mindset, and the ability to unify stakeholders across disciplines.Key ResponsibilitiesLead core pre-construction, planning design, and design standard reviewsAssess and track activities for acquisition projectsReview designs and layouts during planningOrganise and manage central design standards informationSupport and coordinate pre-construction meetings and pipeline activityWork with other departments including Interiors & Landscaping design leads to maintain consistency across projectsManage and produce technical drawings for the design libraryReview site activity for compliance with technical standardsSupport technical and design checklists during planningCreate and update guidance documents and best practicesContribute to program reviews, logistics, and project templatesMaintain records and coordinate with project teamsDesired skills and experienceDegree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Project Management, or EngineeringIn excess of 5 years’ experience in residential construction design or similarFull knowledge of construction industry regulations and planning policiesStrong project management and stakeholder engagement skillsConfident working independently and collaborativelyExcellent verbal and written communicationDetail-oriented and proactiveFull driver’s licence and access to a vehicle (essential)Must hold full eligibility to work in IrelandSalary & Benefits includeCompetitive salaryAnnual bonusPensionLife assurance & income protectionCPDEmployee assistance programme (EAP)If you meet the criteria above and are interested in this opportunity, forward your cv to Deborah Byrne.
