Location
Ballyragget facility, Co. Kilkenny. This role is onsite and reports to the EH&S Manager.
Role Profile
The 2026 Graduate Programme will take you through a series of real‑world learning experiences, helping you build confidence, flourish in your career, and make a difference in health, safety and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
* Prioritise safety: learn to put safety first and apply safe systems in a busy production environment.
* Environmental & sustainability: work with the Utilities Team to care for the environment and promote sustainability in a large production setting.
* Problem‑solving & continuous improvement: collaborate within the EHS team, using lean / 6‑sigma techniques and Business Excellence tools to drive improvement.
* EHS management: support policies and procedures site‑wide, conduct risk assessments, provide safety alerts and training, report on metrics, and assist with audits/inspections from EPA, Department of Agriculture and customers.
Requirements
* High academic record in Environmental, Health & Safety or a related discipline (minimum 2.2 honours).
* Ambition to progress in operations and production in a dynamic environment.
* Commercial focus with customer‑centric solutions.
* Strong collaboration and partnership building to meet shared objectives.
* Excellent communication and influence skills at all levels.
* Thirst for knowledge and continuous learning.
