Overview: We are working with a leading insurance brokerage that is seeking to hire an Insurer Development Manager.
This is a key strategic role supporting the delivery of the companys insurer management and placement strategy.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership to shape and implement insurer engagement plans and ensure strong alignment with wider commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities: Support the delivery of the insurer placement strategy in collaboration with the Director of Broking and senior management Manage and develop key insurer relationships across multiple business units Act as a central point of contact for insurer partners, sharing strategic insight and key management information Coordinate and deliver insurer engagement activity to support commercial goals Work cross-functionally with internal teams to align placement strategy and identify areas for innovation Attend external forums, events, and industry briefings to maintain strong market awareness and represent the business Monitor data and performance metrics, providing regular analysis and insight to support decision-making Ensure smooth coordination of strategic insurer partnerships and projects Requirements: Minimum 5 years of insurance industry experience, ideally with exposure to commercial lines and broking CIP qualification required Strong relationship management skills with a consultative and solutions-focused approach Confident working with data and generating insights; advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint Highly organised, client-focused, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage internal stakeholders and external partners Ideal Candidate: This role would suit someone who enjoys building long-term relationships, is commercially astute, and thrives in a visible, cross-functional position.
