Senior Project Manager - Marine Civil Construction Location: Kerry, Ireland (with some site travel in Ireland & the UK) A leading marine civil construction company in Kerry is looking for a Senior Project Manager to help deliver complex and high-profile projects across Ireland and the UK. The company is known for its excellent reputation, expert leadership team, and consistent track record of delivering challenging marine works on time and within budget. About the Role This role is ideal for a seasoned Project Manager from a heavy civils background, even if you haven't worked in the marine sector before. You'll be based in Kerry for most of the year (typically 6+ months), with additional travel to project sites as needed. You'll work closely with a highly experienced leadership team who are specialists in marine civil engineering, giving you strong technical support as you step into the marine sector. What You'll Do Lead the planning and delivery of major civil construction projects in marine and coastal environments. Manage site teams, subcontractors, and project resources day-to-day. Oversee programming, cost control, procurement, and commercial performance. Ensure all works meet safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, port authorities, and other stakeholders. Provide clear reporting on project progress, risks, and solutions. What You'll Need Significant experience managing heavy civil engineering projects (marine experience is beneficial but not essential). Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams. Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership abilities. Willingness to travel to sites in Ireland and the UK. Engineering or construction-related qualification is a plus.
