Job Description:
I am working with a telecommunication company in Waterford as they are hiring a Credit Management Representative. This is for a 12-month contract based in Tycor, Waterford and offering hybrid working.
This position takes responsibility for the collection of invoice processes and uses analytical and investigative skills to manage an assigned customer base across SME, Corporate, and Public Sectors.
Responsibilities:
* Provide the highest standards in customer relationship management to a portfolio of customers across several sectors.
* Contact customers by phone and other tools to ensure timely payment of all invoices, being proactive to prevent overdue situations.
* Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal teams and external clients.
* Ensure collection processes adhere to company procedures.
* Promptly provide customer payment remittances to the cash applications team.
* Produce account manager debtor statements for managed accounts.
* Meet weekly/monthly collection targets and all SLAs.
* Issue daily disconnection lists for unpaid accounts to your Team Leader.
* Record and escalate dispute information to management with high quality as per escalation policy.
* Produce monthly statements for customers as per their requests.
Skills and Experience:
* At least 1 year of collections, accounts payable, customer care, or sales experience.
* Strong interpersonal and business skills, both oral and written, with excellent telephone skills.
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
* Good organizational, time management, negotiation, and reporting skills.
* Analytical approach with good problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
* Ability to establish and maintain key relationships.
