Brief Description of Role
DNG Financial Services is seeking an experienced and detail-focused Paraplanner to support our growing Financial Planning team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in preparing and reviewing financial advice documentation, conducting product and fund research, and supporting our Financial Advisors in delivering outstanding service to clients.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Assist Financial Advisors in the preparation of client reports and financial planning recommendations
* Conduct product, fund, and provider research
* Produce accurate and compliant suitability reports and documentation
* Maintain up-to-date client records in line with compliance and GDPR guidelines
* Liaise with product providers and follow up on outstanding queries
* Support with case tracking and application processing
* Stay up to date with regulatory and legislative changes affecting financial advice
* Contribute to process improvement and operational efficiency across the Financial Planning team
Skills and Experience Required
* QFA qualified (or working towards full qualification with at least APA in Investments and Pensions)
* At least 2 years of experience in a Paraplanner or Financial Planning support role
* Strong technical knowledge of life assurance, pensions, savings and investments
* Excellent written communication and report writing skills
* Meticulous attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems, and in particular Voyant experience
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Professional approach and client-focused mindset
Minimum or Desired Qualifications Required
QFA (or APA minimum with commitment to achieving QFA status)
Third Level Qualification is desirable
Additional Information
Full Time Permanent Contract – 37.5 hours per week
