Job Description
Transport company based in Limerick is seeking a transport planner to join their team.
Support and handover provided.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.30pm
Location: Co.Limerick
Duties to include
· Route planning for a fleet of trucks both domestic and International.
· Diary management and prioritising work load
· Creating and monitoring schedules and bookings including shipping, customs and delivery arrangements.
· Customer service duties
· Formulating reports using excel
· Other adhoc duties
Experience required:
· Experience in a similar position is ideal, however strong administrator will be considered also
· Strong IT skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft office suite in particular excel
· Strong attention to detail
· Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritise potential delays.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Highly motivated with an ability to take ownership
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
