In addition, this position ensures compliance with safety standards through research on new applications and overseeing current applications.What You'll DoManaging power generation, transmission, and distributionWorking with high and low voltage equipmentDesigning systems and products using computer softwareWorking with renewable energy sourcesManaging and maintaining building services, such as lighting, heating, ventilation and lift systemsCarrying out feasibility studies for new technical developmentsDrawing up project plans, making models, prototypes and circuit diagrams for high and low voltage electrical equipmentBudgeting and estimating timescalesTesting installations and systemsEnsuring projects meet safety regulationsOverseeing inspection and maintenance programmesDesign, control, and implement electrical systems and productsDevelop manufacturing processes according to global engineering codes and standardsManage engineering projects and deliver them on timeEnsure that installations and applications are in line with customer needs and safety standardsCollaborate with engineers and technicians to design and apply new system processesPerform quality and performance analysis on new and legacy IT systemsSummarize data and report on test resultsExamine needs on new equipment, calculate costs and help prepare budgetsMonitor maintenance and inspection plansMaintain awareness of individual contribution to and impact of the quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies and activities; report all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel.Additional ExpectationsRemain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.Qualifications, Experience & SkillsBachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline. 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of power generation, transmission, and high/low voltage systems.Proven experience designing, implementing, and testing electrical systems and equipment.Solid understanding of electrical codes, safety regulations, and compliance standards.Proficiency in electrical design and calculation software.Experience working with or supporting automated manufacturing equipment and industrial systems.Ability to manage engineering projects, including budgeting, estimating, and delivery to timelines.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with experience in performance and quality analysis.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to collaborate across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations teams.Highly organised, detail-oriented, and delivery-focused, with strong documentation and reporting capability.Tate is an equal-opportunity employer.
