We are partnering with a leading property in North Dublin to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to join their commercial team.
This is a commercially focused role responsible for driving new business growth while managing and developing key accounts across corporate, MICE, and leisure markets. The successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of the hotel’s sales strategy and revenue objectives, working closely with senior Sales, Revenue, and Marketing stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement proactive sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets
Create and execute structured monthly sales activity plans including client meetings, site visits, entertainment, trade shows, conferences, and networking events
Identify, target, and convert new business opportunities across corporate and MICE sectors
Develop and manage key accounts, maximising all revenue opportunities
Re-engage lapsed and dormant accounts through proactive outreach
Represent the hotel at industry events and act as a brand ambassador
Conduct face-to-face client meetings and attend national and occasional international events and trade shows
Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and industry intelligence to identify business opportunities
Monitor performance data and support regular reporting on sales activity and results
Work closely with internal teams to support customer experience and client retention
Candidate Profile
Proven experience in a hotel sales or business development role within 4 or 5-star hospitality
Strong track record in new business generation and account management
Highly proactive, commercially focused, and target-driven
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Comfortable working in a field-based, activity-driven sales environment
Experience in setting and delivering against sales targets or budgets
Full clean driver’s licence and own transport required
