As a Business Development Representative at Qstream, your primary goal is to drive the acquisition of new logo and expansion business. You will prospect and nurture leads within your assigned territory, using your communication and research skills to identify potential buyers. Your objective is to qualify prospects through discovery calls, ensuring alignment with Qstream's solutions and target customer criteria. Once qualified, you will transition these leads to your dedicated Account Executive who will further develop relationships and close new business opportunities. Your role is instrumental in expanding Qstream's client base and the organization’s growth.
Job Responsibilities:
* Research and gather insights on target industries, organizations, and decision-makers to facilitate effective outreach.
* Initiate and manage outreach campaigns, including cold calls, emails, and social media channels, to engage with prospective clients.
* Qualify leads by conducting your own discovery calls to evaluate prospect needs, budget, and alignment with Qstream's solutions.
* Effectively communicate the value proposition and benefits of Qstream's products and services.
* Use marketing collateral and content to enhance outreach and educate prospects about Qstream's products and services.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for all marketing-generated leads, ensuring rapid and effective responses to inquiries received via various marketing channels, including email, web forms, events, and campaigns.
* Collaborate closely with the dedicated Account Executive in your territory to ensure a seamless handoff of qualified leads, providing them with valuable insights, context, and comprehensive information to facilitate a smooth transition from lead to opportunity, and to further develop and close new business opportunities.
* Data hygiene and enrichment is essential for this role – this requires clean data into Salesforce, maintaining accurate and up-to-date activity records of prospect interactions.
* Maintain working knowledge of the Qstream platform to support introductory conversations and light product overviews.
* Aim to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual quota and targets.
Qualifications:
* Proven success in a previous sales or customer-facing role, or a strong willingness to kickstart a sales career.
* Strong organizational and time management abilities.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficient with CRM, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Salesloft or similar sales engagement tools.
* Self-motivated and collaborative.
* Skilled in objection handling.
* Highly coachable with a strong willingness to learn.
* Prior knowledge of B2B sales processes and best practices is a plus.
* Passionate desire to move up within a sales organization.
